I'm guessing this is a fairly common problem that most creative people run into. Something akin to writer's block but with all forms of creativity. I hesitate to label it as being 'burnt out', at least for myself, because my desire to create is still strong, but sometimes I go through phases of having zero motivation for creativity.
During these chunks of time life is just dull. Its boring. My mind isn't running through ten plus different projects and coming up with interesting ways to do things.
I've been in one of these creative slumps for a couple of weeks now. Despite the fact that I have plenty of projects somewhere between started and finished, I just have lost interest in working on them.
I always manage to bounce out of these eventually, but I was just wondering if any of you out there have any clever tricks for getting out of the crafty doldrums?
Having crafty parties with crafty people! :D
